What's new at Sea Pines
New Plantation Club
The Plantation Clubhouse serving Heron Point and Ocean Course was completion slated for spring 2014, the 16,000 square-foot clubhouse will reside on the site of the former Plantation Club and provide a premier golf experience for Sea Pine’s guests. Planned amenities include an expansive pro shop; bar and grill; 2,000 square-feet of event space; and spacious locker rooms. Property owners will enjoy the new grill and bar area overlooking Heron Point and Ocean Course, as well as an inviting foyer and lounge areas. The interior design throughout the clubhouse will blend traditional and Lowcountry elements, and provide a fresh and inviting atmosphere throughout. The event space provides sweeping views of Ocean Course and Heron Point, and is the ideal setting for weddings and special events.
Sea Pines Beach Club
The two-story facility is set to reside on the site of the current Sea Pines Beach Club and aims to maintain the relaxed, beachside atmosphere of the current facility, while providing new conveniences and amenities ensuring year-round enjoyment for guests and property owners.
Proposed amenities at the beach club include: a casual beachside restaurant; oceanfront beach bar; fast casual express concessions; retail shop; rooftop bar terrace and special event space all connected by outdoor decks, terraces and covered verandas.
The planned aesthetic of the building comfortably combines Lowcountry, coastal and traditional elements in a very inviting and casual setting. A coastal palette of soft driftwood tones, complimented by light cream trim, will blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings and is consistent with design elements found throughout Sea Pines. Intended architectural elements include: traditional cedar siding; wood columns, brackets, shutters and louvers; regional Savannah grey brick; and tabby walkways.
